The Second Pony Club International Dressage (Virtual) Show has successfully concluded today. The show attracted 162 entries from 11 countries.

Special congratulations to our Hong Kong Pony Club riders who have placed individually in their classes:

• Jeffrey Wong (LWSC) - Class 1A THIRD
• Furla Ng & Oliver Stapleton (BREC) - Class 4 FIRST
• Emily Chow & Ka Ching Fu (BREC) - Class 4 THIRD
  
• Denise Yung (TPRS) - Class 5 FIFTH
• Oskar Boekhorst (CEEC) - Class 5 SIXTH
  

And well done to our teams who achieved the following Team placings:

• Class 1A THIRD Carrie Wang, Rosy Zheng, Lilly Hirth & Jeffrey Wong
  
• Class 5 SECOND Oskar Boekhorst, Rachel Emmerson, Austin Tam & Denise Yung

Making the most of this glorious Autumn weather

Five happy Public Riding School members enjoyed two days of C Rally at BREC and TMPRS. Thank you Nicky and Joelle for making this possible. We plan to offer C Test during the Christmas break. Updates will be available on our events page.

Thank you also Christian and Gary for taking six LWSC riders out for  XC Experience @ BREC. Looking forward to seeing some of these up and coming members out at One Day Event soon!

Thank you Sarah and Laurel and welcome Daisy!

HKPC owes a big thank you to Sarah Vandre who is stepping down as Pony Club Secretary. Sarah has served the Club with dedication and commitment throughout the ups and downs of the past few years.

In addition to mothering three outstanding Pony Club members, Sarah  has trained, qualified and gained full-time employment as a professional teacher during her tenure with us.  So she has been very busy and we deeply appreciate her contributions. Happily Sarah will remain on the Pony Club Committee.

We extend a very warm welcome Daisy Won who is our new Pony Club Secretary. Daisy is a long-time member of the Hong Kong equestrian community, having ridden and loved many a horse at Tuen Mun Public Riding School for years and years.

Daisy has an Accounting, Controls, Risk Management and Compliance  background. She worked for more than 20 years in the finance industry before  stepping down as Head of Compliance for a global asset management firm in 2017.

At the start of this membership year we also say good bye and thank you to Laurel Cooke who will soon be returning to the UK. Kerry Freeman will replace Laurel as the representative from CEEC on the HKPC Committee.

Congratulations all members selected to participate in this year's dressage show hosted by the Pony Club International Alliance.

Please get practicing your tests! Videos must be filmed and submitted by Sunday 16th October and results will be announced on Sunday 30th October. Team and individual placings are up for grabs in all classes against riders from all PCIA member countries including Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, South Africa, United States and Canada.

Thank you to every member who expressed interest to represent us in this show, we really appreciate your support and enthusiasm.

Under Nicky Craven's tutelage all four girls passed D and D+ Tests today. Congratulations! We look forward to seeing you at more PC activities in the near future.

It's been a slow start to the year, but finally with great pride and excitement we're pleased to announce three more members have passed their C+ Test today.

Congratulations to Ashley Gale, Denise Yung and Olivia Fuller. Well done!

The stable management assessment took place at Pokfulam Riding School and the flatwork, jump and cross-country riding assessment took place at Beas River Equestrian Centre.

Big thank you to our examiner Nicky Craven for making it all possible and also to Joelle Scott, Peta Duncalf, Caroline Holm and James Kwok for their collective efforts in supporting our members to prepare for successfully completing this test.

Well done to our winning teams at yesterday's Mounted Games. Such a beautiful winter afternoon with lots of fun for riders, ponies and spectators alike.
