Welcome to Hong Kong Pony Club
Come with us on a walk down memory lane ...
Nicole has been a (loud and very prominent) member of the Hong Kong equestrian community for over four decades. She was on the first Hong Kong equestrian team ever to compete at the Asian Games. The competition took place in Seoul in 1986 when Nicole was only 19 years old and she competed on her own horse from Beas River!
Over the years, Nicole has been involved in Hong Kong Pony Club as a member and volunteer... including instructor at Pony Club camp and Pony Club secretary. She has extensive experience of schooling and competing our wonderful ex-racehorses to the highest level in Hong Kong. These days however she splits her life between Hong Kong and the U.K. where she keeps and competes event horses as part of the HKJC Elite Senior Squad.
Find out what it was like to ride and compete in Hong Kong "back in the day." We're pulling together lots of interesting old photos so that everyone will come away from this session with a deeper appreciation of our shared equestrian history. There may be a little quiz at the end to see if you have been paying attention.
THIS IS INTENDED TO BE AN INFORMAL AND INTERACTIVE SESSION FOR ALL AGES. GATHER YOUR FRIENDS, PREPARE A DRINK AND SOME SNACKS AND ENJOY THE CONVERSATION.
